Looks like we have to be out of our place in 3 weeks (knock wood). We&#8217;ve been looking in Harlem for a new place. I&#8217;d like to be better connected to subways (especially express trains). Right now I&#8217;m on the A train, but I&#8217;d like to have more (and better) options&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>So, here&#8217;s a question for you&#8230; If you were hooking up with someone uptown (north of 110th Street) which subway line(s) would you hope the person was on? You can check off more than one. <em><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Please don&#8217;t answer if you&#8217;re outside NYC or wouldn&#8217;t travel uptown for a trick&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><script src=\"http:\/\/static.polldaddy.com\/p\/2085952.js\" type=\"text\/javascript\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><em>Update:<\/em> So I&#8217;m a little surprised the 1 train is doing so well in the poll. I&#8217;ve always hated that train &#8211; it makes <em>so<\/em> many stops. The A and the D trains skip the whole Upper West Side and are so much faster &#8211; and the A train is best for Hell&#8217;s Kitchen and Chelsea (the biggest gay neighborhoods for those of you outside NYC). My target neighborhood for when we move has always been Hamilton Heights \/ Sugar Hill (145th on the A\/B\/C\/D and 1 trains), but it&#8217;s been hard finding a place, so we&#8217;ve been looking in Central Harlem as well lately. But I can see that the 2\/3 and the B\/C will probably result in fewer hookups. So it looks like I should continue to prioritize Hamilton Heights \/ Sugar Hill in our search, though my hookups aren&#8217;t going to be a huge factor in our decision.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been a little consumed by real estate stuff lately.
