All of a sudden I realize the music video they were playing was really pretty good&#8230; It was this one&#8230;<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><object width=\"425\" height=\"355\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/gEo9ZGhKP54&#038;rel=1\"><\/param><param name=\"wmode\" value=\"transparent\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/gEo9ZGhKP54&#038;rel=1\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" wmode=\"transparent\" width=\"425\" height=\"355\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p>So I get the performer&#8217;s name (Deadlee) and look for the video on YouTube (found it, obviously). Watch the whole thing, closely&#8230; Pretty incredible. In it he talks about the rejection of his father. I love the line &#8220;Hate this sinner, &#8217;cause I love this sin&#8221;&#8230; And he touches on issues of suicide among gay kids&#8230; Good stuff. And he and the boys he has in the video are pretty hot too (if you like blatino thugs)&#8230;<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/188\/365678976_35b63b240c.jpg?v=0\" alt=\"Gay rapper Deadlee\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/131\/366192281_72b367eb62.jpg?v=0\" alt=\"Gay rapper Deadlee wearing 'Girly Man' t-shirt\"><\/p>\n<p>Then I head over to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.deadlee.com\/\" target=\"dl\">Deadlee&#8217;s blog<\/a> and like what I see &#8211; great sense of style in the music videos he posts, and very political (in a good way)&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I then checked out his album on iTunes, but the other songs weren&#8217;t much like &#8220;Good Soldier II&#8221; (the one above), so they didn&#8217;t really do it for me.
