My. God.<\/a> &#8211; Manhattan Mini Storage has always known for their &#8220;out there&#8221; ads, so it&#8217;s not surprising <a href=\"http:\/\/www.manhattanministorage.com\/do\/charity\" target=\"mms\">their latest campaign<\/a> lets their customers choose from a bunch of charities and part of what they pay Manhattan Mini Storage will go to that charity&#8230; These aren&#8217;t just &#8220;safe&#8221; charities like the Red Cross. On their short list of 5 NYC charities is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.avp.org\/\">The NYC Gay and Lesbian Anti-Violence Project<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.manhattanministorage.com\/do\/charity\" target=\"mms\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.manhattanministorage.com\/pages\/images\/Charity_NYCGLAVP.jpg\" alt=\"Manhattan Mini Storage \/ AVP\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The other charities range from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.animalhavenshelter.org\/\" target=\"pets\">a NYC animal shelter<\/a>, to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.citymeals.org\/\" target=\"mow\">meals on wheels<\/a>  to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/nyc\/\" target=\"pp\">Planned Parenthood<\/a>, to one to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.banhdc.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"horses\">stop the use of carriage horses in Central Park<\/a> (I&#8217;m not so sure about that one &#8211; I grew up with horses and think any problems can be handled through regulation, but it just reinforces that they charities aren&#8217;t just major, &#8220;safe&#8221; charities&#8230;)<\/p>\n<p>Thank god we&#8217;ve got businesses like Manhattan Mini Storage here in NYC. Even with all the gentrification <a href=\"http:\/\/rawtop.com\/sex\/2008\/03\/damn-republicans.html\">and whatnot<\/a> happening here, New York still stands for something. It&#8217;s a bastion of liberalism and diversity.
