A lot happened on this site in the past year… You guys have been great and I just wanted to say thanks.<\/p>\n

For starters, traffic has gone up significantly…<\/p>\n

Comparing December 2007 to December 2008…<\/p>\n

Visits are up 232%
\nUnique visitors are up 290%
\nSearch engine traffic is up 574%<\/p>\n

Revenue is another thing that’s gone up (I make money when you click on a link and buy something like a porn site membership). A year ago I was making what I referred to as “jack off money” which amounted to just a little bit each month (by NYC standards). Then it climbed a bit and covered the cost of my car, then it was more… Now I’m seeing porn as a decent way to make money and hope that one day I could live off it completely. If I meet my rather aggressive goals that could happen in a year or so. For now I still earn considerably more off my mainstream corporate work.<\/p>\n

And just for the record, I’ve learned a lot over the last year or two and there’s definitely a right way to approach this business and a wrong way. If any of you want to get serious about it, talk to me…<\/p>\n

I know I’ve been talking about it for a while now, but the big thing I want to accomplish in the next few months is to launch a forum where you guys can start your own topics and discuss things among each other. And I hope to get to the point where I can pump out more and more porn blog posts. I’ve gotten better with it, but things still tend to pile up and then all get done on the weekend. I want to make that more consistent.<\/p>\n
