Should I Show Latex Gloves In Fisting Scenes?

When I started Wily Willy it was to promote condom porn, but given that I’m rawTOP and don’t think condoms are sexy I have a “no visible condoms” policy for the site except on promo vids which I can’t really control like I can control pix.
Now I’m slowly starting Twisted Pig ’cause there’s hardcore fetish content I want to promote that may or may not include barebacking. But I’m not sure whether I should show guys fisting with latex gloves or not. To me they’re even fussier than condoms since it’s unlikely anyone is going to become poz because of fisting without protection. But the bottom line is I’m not a fister and really don’t know why guys use Latex gloves. I can think of a number of reasons they might – to avoid shit (but that would be the same with bareback vs. condom), or to avoid problems with fingernails.
So what do you think I should do? Show latex gloves or not? I think it’s sexier when the guys don’t use gloves, but I’m excluding a lot of the fisting content if I exclude fisting with gloves.

First, I love your blog and sites. Now, I am an experienced fister, have been up to my elbow on a hot man once. The use of gloves is almost always to protect the “inside” of the bottom from anal tears that could be painful and harmful. That is the truth. Also, if a fistee doesn’t use gloves, tears something inside and than the bottom is barebacked, the possibility goes up on HIV infection.
I have rarely used gloves and much, much prefer raw fisting. The feeling is much more intense for the top, just like bareback fucking. I am told that it’s a better feeling for the bottom, too, just like bareback fucking. Be that as it may, I would show fisting with gloves and see how that is received by your readers/viewers. If there is a lot of objection, I’d switch to non-gloves. But, guys, know as RawTop writes, that will exclude alot of fisting.

First I like to say that I have been enjoying your blog site. I am also an experience fister. I have use gloves when the bottom asks for them but prefer the pleasure of going bare-fisting.
As to the chances of going poz for either side, the chances are small but unfortuate for me great enough for it to happen. I had a new deep cut on my upper part of my forearm. I did not think it would ever come into play when fisting someone. But before it could heal close, I wound up deep fisting a bottom quite unexpectedly. We both enjoyed the fisting session but he did not tell me he was poz – non med taker. I have no regrets or thoughts either way about it. That was over 2 years ago.

Well, in order for fisting without gloves to be “safe” the top has to have perfectly manicured hands (nails trimmed short and filed so that they are really dull) with no cuts, and he has to be very careful not to touch his face before giving them a good wash. The bottom also needs to be very experienced and there needs to be LOTS of lube to minimize internal tearing. I imagine that “perfectly manicured” is one of those imaginary states of being, like a “free” market or a hand-drawn perfect circle.
That said, I can’t fist with a glove on. Tried it, but 1) my hands get really sweaty, because I have to use vinyl gloves (latex allergy) and so they don’t fit very well, and 2) I can’t really feel what I’m doing, which means that I’m more likely to hurt the guy taking my fist. A bare fist is capable of much more subtle sensation, and is actually better in the long term in my opinion; it just takes a lot of care in terms of hygiene.
Also, I think that the bigger risk would be for the various flavors of Hepatitis (including C) rather than HIV; while there’s some HIV in a guy’s butt mucous and there might be tiny cuts on the top’s hands, it’s still a long shot to be infected that way, because the cuts need to be recent (pretty much immediate) and open in order for HIV to penetrate. Hep is a lot easier to transmit and not so fragile outside the body. I don’t get to fist very often, but when I do, part of my management of risk involves vetting the bottom for risk factors, like IV drug use, how many guys fist him, his level of hygiene, his sobriety, etc. Not a perfect system, but so far it’s served me well.
I am a very expereinced fister. I have gone both ways. Since my nails tend to not be “manicured” I often opt for the glove for the bottom’s protection. Since I am usually in leather, I wear black latex ones. They don’t look like the dorky medical exam gloves–they actually look hot going in the hole. They show up in porn–maybe include them…

I think you should just show both. Just like using Xtube a person can skim through and pick what they want. Make everyone happy. I prefer seeing no gloves, or honestly that rubber does sound hot. But post both and give a choice.
